Are you a black-or-white “all-or-nothing” kinda person? 🤍🖤

All-or-nothing way of thinking is a type of 𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. Some examples of all or nothing thoughts:
1. “I missed one workout session so I will just give up exercising this week.”
2. “I made a mistake, so I must be a stupid person.”

All or nothing type of thinking is extreme and contributes to anxiety. If you’re having a hard time managing your anxiety because of this, know that you’re not alone! And evaluate if your thought pattern tends to be “all or nothing”. Better question to ask yourself might be “Is there a way I can implement a middle ground?”
